Are you a hands-on leader with strong organizational and people skills? We’re looking for a Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure our shop runs efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and schedule shop staff and technicians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Oversee inventory, parts ordering, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to keep operations running smoothly
- Track performance metrics and assist with budgeting and cost control
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in shop management or a related leadership role
- Strong mechanical and organizational aptitude (Will train to work on appliances)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills

Since 1995, Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees, and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska.
