Now Hiring: Shop Manager

Location: Anchorage, Ak
Position Type: Full-Time

Are you a hands-on leader with strong organizational and people skills? We’re looking for a Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure our shop runs efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and schedule shop staff and technicians
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Oversee inventory, parts ordering, and equipment maintenance
Ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards
Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to keep operations running smoothly
Track performance metrics and assist with budgeting and cost control

Qualifications:

Proven experience in shop management or a related leadership role
Strong mechanical and organizational aptitude (Will train to work on appliances)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and record-keeping skills

Compensation: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

The company stayed small, but demand pushed for growth and since 2000 it has been on a constant rise, employing now over 40 employees. Since the beginning, Reliable Appliance has kept a strong goal to provide the highest level of service, the largest selection of products, and the most competitive prices. Reliable Appliance is a value driven business that believes in strong relationships, taking care of the customer, superior service, eco-friendly, and lasting trust. In 2019, Michael sold the company to his son Logan Rounds, Kyle Mirka, Darin Williams, and Kenny Petersen.

Since 1995, Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees, and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska. They work with many local companies to ensure customers receive the best possible service and product available. Reliable Appliance, Alaska’s place for appliance sales and service.
